thankful: five

i loveloveloveloveLOVE my church. seriously. we have passionate worship and sound teaching, we're multicultural and missions-minded, and every time i'm there, i'm moved to tears by how beautiful the Body is. see, my church is not the only one like this. all across the world, there are people who have become the literal Body of Christ, and they're loving and serving and praying and worshiping like Jesus did.

so today, i am thankful for true, honest, heartachingly beautiful Christian community. i am thankful that your followers, Lord, are doing their best to imitate you in this dark and broken world. thank you that you have shown me what it truly means to be a part of your Body, and that you have connected me with so many others who are living out of their place in your Body as well. above all, i pray that you would let us represent you well, Jesus. teach us how to be light and love in your name.
