rain.

As I sat on the porch this morning, I found myself distracted by the rain. See, rain in Liberia is unlike any rain I've ever seen or heard before. It's heavy. It's intense and beautiful and hypnotic, easy to be mesmerized by.
So, I was sitting on the porch, trying to read my Bible, trying to write down something, anything, in my journal, but I just kept going back to the rain.

That's when I heard Him speaking:
When the earth is dry, I water it. Likewise, when you are dry, I will quench you also. The rain is infinite; I can send as much of it--of me--as I choose, as much as is needed. Soak it in.

"But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst..." John 4.14
