As I was sitting on the porch this rainy afternoon, I found myself watching the clouds, struck by how quickly the wind was carrying them across the sky. It made me start thinking about life, how time, moments, experiences can be so fleeting--and then they're over. Like the clouds, they're suddenly just...gone.
And just like some clouds are heavier and much, much darker than others, there are some things in life that seem unbearable to go through. They're blackened with pain and sadness and loss, and it sometimes feels like those moments will last forever.
But even the darkest, heaviest thundercloud eventually passes. The clear, bright skies always come again.
